Always a cause for celebration.
Not literally because his films are usually looks into a pit of despair.
But they are always great.
Getting to see them in the cinema is always an experience.
His new one Sorry We Missed You came out last friday.
A film about zero hours contracts and the misery they cause.
A film that would resonate with thousands of people in Ireland.
But nope.
The powers that be have deigned us country folk to be not worthy.
Yet another film not getting shown outside the M50.
Because all us plebs just want explosions and CGI rabbits.
What a pain in the balls.
