Now this chap turns up in everything. He's been around forever. And has a pure recognisable head too so no chance he'll blend into the background. Always puts his distinctive stamp on a character too and I'm amazed he never became a bigger star. It's a pity. But he's still made a solid career as a character actor and is rarely off our screen so that will have to do..
He's dealt with Peter Venkman, Ray, Winston and Egon. Been chopped up by San Francisco serial killers. Been on-board planes hijacked during 9/11. Dealt with the Bluth family. Been to Synecdoche, New York. Worked for law offices ran by the Devil. Punched people through confession boxes. Done voiceovers in Grand Theft Auto V ( serious cool points for that ) and that's only a fraction of his work. In fairness that's a nicely varied career. Been around now for the bones of 40 years. The Ringer. The priest that absolutely and justifiably destroys Johnny Knoxville's face in the funniest scene of this comedy that people avoided in droves and missed out on a film with a bucketload of heart.
Copycat. Andy, the assistant of Sigourney Weaver's lead character. May as well have had a bullseye painted across his head in this serial killer thriller. Gets a particularly nasty end courtesy of a plastic bag and a hacksaw.
United 93. Played real life Edward P. Felt. The first person to manage to make a phone call from the hijacked plane alerting authorities to what was going on.
One Mississippi. Plays the father of Tig Notaro in this criminally underwatched comedy from Amazon. Well no its not a comedy, more of a drama with funny bits. He's a joy in this. Lights up the screen each time he pops his briary straight laced head around the corner.
