There might be hope for the local cinema yet.
Ti West's new horror film about a killer stalking the set of a porn film is being shown from Friday and honestly, I'm genuinely fucking amazed because the last few years all that's been shown are CGI fests or films with starry casts and along comes a low budget 18 cert horror with no stars, a storyline that isn't exactly sellable and from a director who's made films that certain horror fans hate. Shan't be questioning it though, shall just be hoping loads of people go to ensure the cinema will book in similar films in future.
But they won't. They'll all be at Batman.
