Cinema re-openings

August the 10th is the day it's supposed to happened. Stage 5 of the unlocking of Ireland. Pubs, clubs and cinemas, anywhere where crowds of people will be in close contact with each other will finally reopen. It's going to be crazy that day. The crowds will be fucking bonkers. Film fans hungry for their fix will descend on cinemas like locusts. Bored teenagers in their droves will swarm in. Frazzled parents thankful for something new to do with their kids will make up at least 70% of the queues. Every film showing will be packed out. Tenet, the new film from Christopher Nolan will be the big new release that week and I've no doubt every screening will be mobbed, even if the film is 195 minutes long like the rumour mills say. The CN fanboys will be out in force that day to see the movie before social media gets inevitably littered with spoilers. Not a hope will they wait til the following week. It's going to be a zoo and you'd have to be half mad to even attempt to go to the cinema that day.

Will I go that day? You bet your fucking life I will.
