It's got to be Raiders Of The Lost Ark. An adventure masterpiece. A film that never ever gets old with a hero for the ages. Harrison Ford rocks it. Gimme Indy over Han Solo anyday. I read an interview with director Steven Spielberg before where he said he made nazis (small n, those cunts don't deserve a capital N) the bad guys in Raiders because then no one would complain when he killed them off in all manner of gruesome ways. He crushed, diced, skewered, melted and exploded them and all in a family film. Only Spielberg would get away with it. It's like a snuff movie compared to modern day family flicks. And that all adds to the joy. That's why our generation loved it so much.
