30 Day Film Challenge. Day 6.

South Park The Movie : Bigger, Longer, Uncut

4 easily influenced boys sneak into an R-rated movie that's filled with swearing. Not surprisingly the boys go on a swearing spree which climaxes with Eric Cartman telling a teacher to suck his balls. Through a megaphone no less. The boys parents, of course, freak the bean and there's moral outrage. The government gets involved. The film is Canadian therefore all Canadians are bad. The stars of the film, Terrence and Philip are arrested. There's a war of words at the U.N which results in America actually going to war with Canada. Blood is spilled. Satan and his lover Saddam Hussein get involved. This film is amazing. Hilarious, filthy, very clever (no seriously), blisteringly violent and it has a way with profanity that would make Willy Shakespeare proud. It has important things to say about the military industrial complex, racism, movie ratings, modern parenting and America's extreme and hypocritical overreactions to everything. Everyone is it's crosshairs, from Hollywood to business moguls. The Baldwin brothers are wiped out in a carpet bombing and Bill Gates is summarily executed. Oh and it's a musical too, filled with brilliantly filthy songs that actually move the plot forward instead of stalling it in it's tracks. Uncle Fucka, that's.....well that's a song for the ages.

What other film would give you a scalding critique of American foreign policy and American moral hypocrisy while teaching you what a rimjob is and cracking jokes about German poo porn?

No other film. Only this one.
